Poo Julius.

After dinner tonight, me and April decided that we really wanted to go get a blizzard from Dairy Queen. I love, love, love blizzards, Especially Reese's Cup Blizzards. So yummy and delish. A few months back, one of the Dairy Queen's in our town actually turned into an Orange Julius. I had heard of them, but never actually had an Orange Julius anything. I didn't even really know what it was.

So, today i got brave and decided i'd have an Orange Julius smoothie instead of a blizzard. I chose what "appeared" to have been something along the lines of a lemon ice. But boy was i wrong. I hate to say it, but it was so, so gross! The flavor was really wonky, and at first i couldn't even tell that it was lemonade. It was topped off with a really icky frothy-foamy top that tasted like bubbles. Then underneath the bubble gunk, was supposed to be the frozen ice part of the drink. It was the consistency of water and tasted like a mixture of an Orange Push-Up and lemonade. I was SO NOT HAPPY. I went inside Dairy Queen/Orange Julius and i told the manager that i though i got the wrong thing. Then he proceeded to take the lid of and then HE SMELLED IT. And then gave it back to me. So gross, and so weird!

I did NOT have a pleasant first experince with the Orange Julius. It said on the cup that Orange Julius has been around since 1926, but i can't see how! It was gross!

I really want a blizzard.
xoxo, kara.

  1. I think it may have meant that literally that cup of Orange Julius had been around since 1926.

  4. I always though orange Julius was a drink mixed with orange juice/orange or just some juice...always trust your gut with your beverages. :]
